Bonnie Siu

Bonnie Siu is a Television and Film Actress based in Toronto, Ontario in Canada. She was born in prairies of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. She is the daughter of a successful banker, Chief Financial Officer, and a philanthropist for The Kensington Health Center which is a Doctors Hospital. When she was little, she spent her life moving from one location to another due to her father’s job and career. Her mother was an intelligent woman and has many university degrees including a degree for Psychology and Theology. Bonnie’s mother used to work as a teacher and was a counselor for Legal Aid Services before she retired. As Bonnie grew, she began to adapt to her changing surroundings. As the time past, Bonnie cultivated interest in performance arts and acting. She was very active and good in acting.

Bonnie excelled her all high school events and performances, playing many challenging roles in the apocalyptic play. She justified the role as ‘Wise Spirit’ marvelously. She also played the role of a woman in ‘Childbearing’ and has played a fortune teller in Laurentina’s ‘Funhouse for the Fringe’ Festival. She is a skilled dancer and has performed as a dancer and lead for the ‘First Dance’ which was a film that unfortunately never ended its past production stage. Bonnie attended George Brown College for Banking and Pastry Arts. She was also a writer for the college newspaper. Later, Bonnie went on to study Digital Media Design at the International Academy of Design where she catered her passion for graphic designing and music production.

After mastering her passion for designing and music production, she founded the “BVS Studio” which is a hip-hop/electronic music production, recording, and mastering studio in Toronto. Bonnie has sampled sounds for musicians worldwide. She also created an audio mosaic. Bonnie can speak English, French, and Cantonese. Bonnie then went to the University of Toronto, where she learned Visual Studies and Architecture. She joined the student council as a Vice President of External Relations and as an Alumni member of the “Alpha Phi” women’s fraternity Xi chapter. Bonnie did many jobs including but not stopping at just being a waitress at Alice Fazool’s restaurant, but also sold Toronto Star newspaper door to door, and was a personality along with the promoter for industry nightclub.

She worked as a regular dancer at ‘Electric Circus TV’ show and was the ‘E3Live’ distributor and product label designer. Bonnie worked as an excellent graphic designer and music producer for Hip-Hop and for her personal progressive Trance-Electro beats. She has been a DJ with the name “BonniStar,” produced and written music as ghost-writer and producer. Bonnie also owns a contact lens store where she manages retail and wholesale of costume and special effect lenses and distributes too much of Vancouver. Bonnie always tries to learn new things and her this attitude makes her very strong woman. She has lived with and has practiced Orthodox Judaism for 4 years in the religious Jewish part of Toronto.

Bonnie has great skills of action, self-control and building sensitivity to all the humankind. She can also read Biblical Hebrew. She has done a role as an ‘LOCCENT Tech’ for the movie “ Pacific Rim Click to look into! >> Read More... ”, A personal assistant for “Dr.Cabbie”, Drunk girl for “Bedroom Politics” and an agent for project “Breakwater”. She has also been seen in various commercials and has made appearances in various films, TV shows and ads in Toronto. Bonnie has lived her life cooperating with multiple interests and skills into her acting, art and always willing to learn attitude. She has also developed the skills like mixed martial arts, Swimming, Piano, Painting, Firearms Handling, Cooking & Baking, Rock Climbing, Kung Fu, Yoga and stunt women in the film industry.
