Heather Lee Mitchell, an Australian actress and production member who was born in 1958 in Korea. She finished her schooling at Camden High school from 1971 to 1976. She was the captain in her final year of schooling. In 1976, she was also played the lead role of Elvira in her school drama Noel Coward's Hay Fever. She graduated from The National Institute of Dramatic Art. Her father, Red, was an American forester was working on a tree-planting project, but he had jailed as knew of America's objector to World War Second. Then he went to China, where he met with an Australian woman and his future wife, Shirley Price, working for The United Nations in Shanghai.

Then they returned to Sydney, where Red found a job in the Forestry Commission’s water catchment around Warragamba Dam and settled in Camden, Australia. When Mitchell was ten-years-old, her mother,suffered from Leukaemia. Here, Mitchell’s acting started. She used to take care of her mother and family. Mitchell was the youngest of three children. In 2020, she honored for her acting and performing art to the community. She also became a member of the Order of Australia. She is famous for her role of Ashka in the TV show Spellbinder in 1990.

The series was based on the children’s fantasy program broadcasted in 1995. She worked in many TV series, movies, theatre plays, and short-film. The movies like Malcolm, The Place at the Coast, The Everlasting Secret Family, Proof, Thank God He Mat Lizzie, Seven Deadly Sins, Muriel's Wedding, Children of the Revolution, Black and White, Traveling Light, On the Beach, and TV series like The Day Of Roses, a Country Practice, Embassy, Get Started. Her production like Bye Bye Birdie, The White Devil, Neighbors Watch. In 2017, she worked with Sydney Theater Company in Cloud Nine, directed by Kip Williams.

 Mitchell has great energy, spirit who meets the people with the line ‘Hello Darling.’ Heather was searching for a thoughtful and interesting thing to do in her plays. In 2010, when she was directing Sam Shepherd’s True West, The play about American dreams, in the final episode, Austin, who played the character of Brendan Cowell, steals thirty toasters from his neighbors, after every show, the manager who burned the toast into the bin. When Heather saw the toast, she took a bag of toast, and after that, within a few hours, they started to paint the toast with disposal chopsticks and Vegemite. After that she became sensational on the web, and her art became the industry treasure.

Actor Sam Neill, is another proud creative of toast, worked with Heather in the movie, Palm Beach, says, it is interesting and quite amazing, where my friend’s art is fabulous, and we can also eat that. Mitchell also created thirty new toast with her amazing art and giving tribute to Philip Seymour Hoffmann and the Sydney Theatre Company. Heather’s toast is also auctioned and exhibited at the National Art School in Sydney. Heather started her acting career with the Television series Spellbinder.

It was a science fiction and fantasy adventure show, aired on Nine Network, which was directed and produced by Noel Price. It stars Michaela Noonan, Gosia Piotrowska, Brian Rooney, Rafael Zwierz. The series aired in Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Ireland and United Kingdom. Due to its popularity the series, broadcasted more than six times and the recent broadcast was in April 2020.

The series rated by eight out of ten, and ninety percent of Google users loved the show.Another show also aired with the title Spellbinder: Land of the Dragon Lord, in which Heather played an important role. The series also got AACTA Award for the best children program. Heather is active in the industry for the last four decades and continuously performing in many shows.
