Julie Nihill, an Australian actress, producer, teacher, Narrator, and writer born on 26th April 1957 in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. She graduated from Trinity College and trained as an actress from London. She is best known for her TV series, Blue Heelers, where she played the character of Chris Riley from 1994 to 2006. She mostly appears in Television shows, she has worked in only one movie, 'Every Move She Makes' for which she won Penguin Award.Several TV shows like Homes Prisoner, I Can Jump Puddles, Careful, He Might Hear You, The Young Doctors, A Slice of Slice, Starting Out, The Cowra Breakout.

In Iran, Blue Heelers aired on the IRIB channel and dubbed into the Persian language. In Italy, the series aired on Seven Gold channel in the Italian language. In Canada, the show last aired on Showcase on 15 May 1998. In the USA, The series aired on cable channel Trio, but after number seventy-six, no episodes shown in the United States. The series ended in 2006.
