Neve Campbell

Neve Campbell is a film actress and television artist from Canada. She was born on October 3 in the year 1973, in Ontario, Canada. She is popularly known for her role in the horror series Scream. She has appeared on many television shows as well.

Early Life

Campbell was born to Gerry Campbell and Marnie. Her father was a teacher at various drama schools and mother was a yoga trainer. Her parents separated when she was just two years old. She spent most of her childhood with her father with monthly visits to her mother. Her grandparents were also performers and owned a theatre in the Netherlands. Campbell took up ballet when she saw a performance of The Nutcracker at the age of six. She joined the Erinvale School of Dance where she began her dance classes. Campbell then transferred to National Ballet School of Canada and appeared for The Nutcracker. After many dance injuries and stress breakdown, Campbell decided to drop dancing and to start acting. She was just 15 when she decided to take up acting as a profession.

Work

Neve Campbell began her acting career in a Coca-Cola advertisement in 1991. She promoted it on a Bryan Adams tour. Her first-star role was in the youth show, Catwalk, where she played Daisy. She made several guest appearances on shows like Kung Fu; The Legend Continues and Are You Afraid of the Dark?. She shot 142 episodes for the show Party of Five and also featured as a host on the show Saturday Night Live Saturday Night Live or popularly called as NBC&#39 >> Read More... . She won the Golden Globe Award for her role in Party of Five. Further, she continued to make appearances on Grey’s Anatomy, Mad Men and Sea Wolf. She started her career in films after her success with Party of Five. She made her debut in The Craft in 1996. That same year, she bagged the role of Sidney Prescott in the horror film Scream. The very next year, she was part of the sequel, Scream 2. In the year 2000, amongst her three releases was the third part of the horror film Scream 3. She gained international popularity with her role in Scream. She won many awards also, for her role. After the success of the horror series, she received the Prism Award for Performance in Tv movies for Last Call. She was part of films like The Company, Investigating Sex and Agent Crush. After 11 years, the fourth edition of Scream was released. The project which had launched her in 1996 once again launched her in 2011. In 2012, Campbell gave birth to her son, Caspian, with her partner JJ Field. Neve Campbell is amongst the most beautiful ladies in the industry. She was ranked 3 in the Sexiest Movie Stars in 1998. She bagged a lead role in the popular Netflix drama House of Cards.

Neve Campbell will feature in the new season of House of Cards. She will be voicing the character of Princess Lielle in Bremen Town Musicians although a release date has not yet been finalised.
