Staci Keanan

Staci Keanan, adopted name of Anastasia Sagorsky, is an actress hailing from America. She gained widespread fame for her work in the TV series’ My Two Dads, an American sitcom, and Step by Step, in which she played one of the leads. The other stage names used by her are Stacy Keanan and Staci Love. Born on June 6, 1975, to Jacqueline and Irv Sagorsky, she spent the major part of her childhood in Devon, Pennsylvania, also her birthplace. She has one sibling, a sister named Pilar. She started modeling at the tender age of five, appearing in various commercials across various platforms, the most notable being her TV ad for Burger King and Hershey’s Kisses. During her earlier days, she wanted to be a waiter. But then, she moved to New York City with her mother and sister, where she adopted the stage name of Staci Love, and started her theatrical career in summer stock theatre. She also attended UCLA as an Art History major. Her debut television appearance was in the miniseries I’ll Take Manhattan, in 1987. She was cast in her second TV series My Two Dads, shortly after she moved to California, aged twelve. It ran for three years.

Meanwhile, she also acted in the series Going Places, which was taken off the air just after one season. Another breakthrough role in her career was that of Dana Foster, in the TV show Step by Step, which had a run of seven seasons for seven years. The show was warmly received by critics. After the TV show had ended, she went away on a sabbatical again to return in 2010. She is a Catholic. She cleared her graduation from Southwestern Law School in 2013. She is happily married to Guy Birtwhistle and is currently based in Los Angeles, California.
