Tina Louise, an American actress and singer, was born on February 11, 1934, in the city of New York Click to look into! >> Read More... . She was brought up by her mother Sylvia, a fashion model. She did her schooling at PS 6 and Scarborough Day School. She completed her graduation from Miami University. She married Les Crane who is a radio and TV announcer. The couple had one daughter, Caprice Crane. At the age of two, she worked in an advertisement for her father's candy store. When she was seventeen, she joined Manhattan's Neighborhood Playhouse School where she learnt acting, dancing and singing under Sanford Meisner. She made her acting debut in the musical revue of Bette Davis' Two's Company in 1952. She later worked in Will Success Spoil Rock Hunter?, John Murray Anderson's Almanac, and the hit musical Li'l Abner.

Her debut film was God's Little Acre in 1958, the year she was named "World's Most Beautiful Redhead" by the National Art Council. She starred in 1959 film Day of the Outlaw with Robert Ryan. She worked in the Italian films, "The Seige of Syracuse" and "Garibaldi." She portrayed a country girl from West Virginia in the situation comedy The Real McCoys's episode Grandma Pygmalion. She made an appearance in For Those Who Think Young with Bob Denver Bob Denver played the title role on the goofy 1960 >> Read More... in 1964. She portrayed movie star Ginger Grant in the situation comedy Gilligan's Island. Louise worked in the Matt Helm spy spoof "The Wrecking Crew" in 1969 with Dean Martin. She played a heroin addict in an episode of "Kojak" and a cruel corrections officer in "Nightmare in Badham County."

She played supporting roles in SST: Death and Flight(1977), Look What's Happened to Rosemary's Baby(1976), and Dallas(1978-1979). She co-starred in the Robert Altman comedy O.C. and Stiggs(1987) and Johnny Suede(1992). She portrayed Miss Beck in the situation comedy Married.. with Children in 1990. She starred in the horror film Late Phases and in the Spiritual drama Tapestry. She has a reunion with her co-stars Russell Johnson, Bob Denver, and Dawn Wells for an episode of Roseanne. Louise's record album, It's Time for Tina, was released on Concert Hall in 1957. She recorded one single for United Artists Records in 1958. She is a lifetime member of the Actors Studio. She did a campaign during the 1960 presidential election for John F Kennedy. She is an author of Sunday: A Memoir (1997) and When I Grow Up (2007).
