Janelle Monáe Robinson professionally known as Janelle Monáe was born on December 1, 1985, is an American songwriter, singer, model, and actress. The Audition was her first unofficial studio album. This album got many appreciations and bagged a nomination for Best Contemporary R&B Album at 53rd Annual Grammy Awards. This album reached the 17th spot on the Billboard 200. She has won many Awards for her music including six Grammy Awards. The Electric Lady, released on September 10, 2013, was her second studio album.
