David "Davy" Crockett was a nineteenth century American society legend, frontiersman, officer, and government official. He is ordinarily alluded to in pop culture by the sobriquet "Ruler of the Wild Frontier". He spoke to Tennessee in the U.S. Place of Representatives and worked in the Texas Revolution.

He was born in Frederick County, in Virginia, in 1753. During the American Revolution he fought in the Battle of Kings Mountain as a part of the Overmountain Men. When John was serving in the army in 1777, when his parents, Elizabeth and David, were murdered in their home near Creeks and Chickamauga Cherokees by the chief, Dragging Canoe. John's sibling Joseph was injured in the conflict. He wedded Rebecca Hawkins in the year 1780. They named their son David, after his father, who was born on 17 August, 1786.

The family shifted to Mossy Creek in Jefferson County in 1792. In 1795, John lost his house due to financial problems and had to shift his family to a plot owned by a John Canady. He then constructed a tavern in Morristown. David and Margaret Elder had a contract marriage on 21st Ocober, 1805. Crockett had personal feelings for Amy Summer, John Canady's niece, who was distracted by him because of her prior engagement to Canady's child, Robert. He influenced Margaret Elder who met him in wedding party, to wed him, and thus a formal marriage contract was signed between them on October 21, 1805.

Margaret had likewise ended up connected with another fellow in the meantime and wedded him instead. At a harvest meet-up, he met Polly Finley and also her mother Jean. Although benevolent towards him before all else, Jean Finley inevitably felt that Crockett was actually not well-suited for her young daughter. He orchestrated an equity of peace and hence brought out a marriage permit on the day of August 12, 1806. On August 16, John went to see Polly at her home along with his family and companions, resolved to run away with Polly to be hitched somewhere else. Polly's dad begged Crockett to conduct the wedding at their Finley home. Crockett concurred when Jean said sorry for having treated him badly earlier.

He came in Disney and Discovery Channel, and also was famous for his music which hit the Billboard best-seller chart in 1955. His legend returned in the 1950s television show started by Walt Disney Walt Disney or Walter Elias Disney was an American >> Read More... . He also appeared on Discovery Channel, a seventh season episode of the series. Myth Busters explored a story of Crockett’s wherein he managed to stick an axe into the trunk of a tree, fire the long rifle from 40 yards away so that it may hit the edge so closely that the bullet may split in two. Tony Belleci later did the same thing, managing to do it from 20 yards and announced that the myth had been confirmed. Thus saying that Crockett might have done the same within a 40-yard shot.

He later got famous and got hit in music industry too. In 1955, "The Ballad of Davy Crockett" from the Disney TV show, played four varied versions of the same song and reached the top of the Billboard Best Sellers pop chart. Davy Crockett played in a musical play, released in January, 1938-April, 1938, Kurt Weill. Some of his prose fiction movies were "Chickasaw Slave" by Judith Moffett in Alternate Presidents, wherein Crockett played the seventh President of America. He also worked in "Empire" written by William Sanders in the Alternate Generals Volume 2. In this movie he fought for the Emperor Napoleon I of the Louisiana city. The conflict was an analogous to the war that was held in 1812.
