Delhi Crime, an award-winning crime drama that refreshed the barbaric incident of the Nirbhaya gang-rape case, involved much more than a cast and a storyline. It included a crew of the best- producers and directors, but the heroes behind the camera are often not considered. One of the real heroes behind the success of Delhi Crime is Florence Solan, an executive producer of Delhi Crime. Born in a wealthy family in Malaysia, Florence went to boarding school at just the age of 11 because her father wanted her to be skilled in the English. Later, she was sent to a City University in London, where she pursued BA in law with honors.

She tied the knot at the age of 21 years with Harry Evans Sloan, an American business executive. Now, they both are blessed with four children. Florence Sloan has always envisaged creativity, and her passion for movies compelled everybody to count on her in big projects. She produced her first-ever film along with her friend Wendi Murdoch, Snow Flower and the Secret Fan, based on the bestselling novel named the same by Lisa See. The plot is based on friendship, and both the women have been friends for more than a decade. That's what inspired both of them and to turn their spark of friendship and an extraordinary plot into a movie.

The film was a big hit with an IMDB rating of 6.1/10. And why wouldn't it be successful? After all, it was being made with the purest efforts and the sacrifices of Florence Sloan and Wendi Murdoch. From working in severely cold weather without heaters to eating just rice and vegetables, from sacrificing their garb for the wardrobe department to exploring art galleries for decorations in films. But the ladies didn't leave even a single stone unturned, and their hard work paid off well. Florence Sloan’s latest project was The Fight, released in 2020 and 75% liked the film. Florence’s recognition after the success of her projects have brought the Golden Period in her life, and we wish the best for her.
