Yes, today we are going to talk about John C. Donkin. He is a British film producer. In his life; till today, he has produced a good number of animated short films. He entered into the world of filmography in 2002 as an associate producer of ‘ Ice Age Click to look into! >> Read More... (2002).’ Carlos Saldanha was its director. In 2003, it achieved the nomination of DVD Premiere Award for Best Overall New Extra Features and Best New, Enhanced, or Reconstructed Movie Scenes. Donkin, along with Sean Anderson won that award. John took few months to become a producer from an associate producer.

In 2005, he produced ‘Robots.’ For this movie, he won the nomination of the PGA Award for an Outstanding Producer of Animated Theatrical Motion Pictures. Jerry Davis and William Joyce also received the same reward along with John. The same year, he produced ‘Aunt Fanny’s Tour of Booty.’ In 2006 and 2008, he produced another two movies, ‘No Time for Nuts’ and ‘Surviving Sid.’ Donkin was the producer of the second, third, and fourth parts of ‘Ice Age.’ They are ‘Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs (2009),’ ‘Ice Age: Continental Drift (2012),’ and ‘Ice Age: The Great Egg-Escapade(2016)’ respectively. ‘Rio (2011)’ is John’s another creation.

He won the BFTA Children’s Award along with six other persons including Carlos Saldanha, Bruce Anderson, Carlos Kotkin, and Yoni Brenner. ‘Rio 2’ received the nomination of VES Award for Outstanding Animation in an Animated Motion Picture. In 2011, he produced ‘Scrat’s Continental Crack-Up: Part 2.’ In 1991 he directed one documentary short film, ‘Antarctica.’ In 1999, he played the role of a digital effects supervisor in ‘Jesus’ Son.’ He was also a technical director of the short film ‘Bunny (1998).
