John Davis

American film and television producer John Andrew Davis, famously known as John Davis was born in Denver, Colorado, U.S. on July 20, 1954. His father is Marvin Davis, who is the former owner of 20th Century Fox, and his mother is Barbara Davis, who is a well-known philanthropist. He was very interested in the film industry since his youth. He has four siblings.

He graduated from Bowdoin College and went to Amherst College. He was an M.B.A graduate from Harvard Business School. His father owned a theatre, and John Davis used to see around 300 movies, and it grew his tremendous interest in films. John Davis is a producer for more than ninety films, and he has worked for television and mini-majors too.

He had an agreement with 20th Century Fox from 1994, and this is one of the longest continuing agreements in the film industry. He is known for his foundation of Davis Entertainments.
