In fact, Rachel is just seven minutes younger than Kiefer. Donald and Shirley were some of the famous figures in the Canadian entertainment industry. Rachel’s maternal grandfather Tommy Douglas was one of the politicians who advocated for “Universal Health Care” welfare system in Canada.

Rachel’s zodiac sign is Sagittarius. She is the stepdaughter of actress Francine Racette. In 1970, Rachel’s parents filed for a divorce due to “irreconcilable differences.” As Kiefer went with his mother, Rachel stayed with Donald. While her brother Kiefer focused on acting, Rachel decided to involve herself in the production and other departments such as the editorial team.

In 1997, Rachel was a part of Kiefer’s directorial debut “Truth or Consequences, NM”. Rachel proved herself quite useful as she assisted as a property master and costume designer. In 2000, Rachel worked on 49 episodes of “The Zack Files”, a Canadian sci-fi show which dealt with the paranormal activities in a particular neighbourhood. The program ran for two years. Her ventures include “Radio Free Roscoe”, “Last Exit”, “Away From Her”, “Real Time”, “You Might as Well Live” and “Harriet the Spy: Blog Wars”. In 2011, Rachel co-produced “Lost Girl”, a Canadian drama about a bisexual girl who becomes aware of her supernatural abilities.

Critics appreciated the show for its genre. “Lost Girl” received several nominations as well. In 2012, Rachel became the production manager for the medical drama “Saving Hope”. Canada’s CTV opted to broadcast its episodes while NBC bagged the show’s rights for the region of the United States of America. In the later stages, NBC did not make the final two episodes available for viewing as they cited its abysmal TV rating points.

Nevertheless, CTV continued to renew the show for five seasons. In 2015, Rachel was an executive producer of “ Dark Matter Story soon >> Read More... ”, another sci-fi series. Dark Matter revolved around the journey of six people, who suffered from amnesia, as they find themselves on a spaceship. Dark Matter’s third season will air in 2017.
