Fiona Apple

Fiona Apple is an American Singer cum songwriter. She is a poet and pianist too. She was born on September 13 in the year 1977 in New York City. Her mother’s name is Diane McAfee, who was also a singer. Her father’s name is Brandon Maggart, who was an actor. Her maternal grandparents were dancers and big band vocalists. She has a sister named Amber. She also has a half-brother, who is an actor. His name is Garett Maggart. 

Fiona Apple had been interested in piano from her childhood. When she was eight years old, she started to compose her pieces. At the age of 12, she started writing and playing her songs.  

She made her debut in the year 1996 with the album “Tidal,” which was released by Columbia Records and Work Records. Fiona released her second album “When the Pawn…” in the year 1999. In the year 2002, she released her third album, “Extraordinary Machine.” “The Idler Wheel…” was the fourth album that she released in the year 2012. She released “Fetch the Bolt Cutters” in the year 2020, which is her fifth album. After releasing her fifth album, she had been writing songs for television shows and movies.
