He has been a part of various groups and worked with famous celebrities. His technique of surf music was influenced by Dick Dale and was inspired by many notable personalities. In 2002, he gave his first solo album Bottom Dollar. He had even served as a producer for the album. His singing capability and songwriting skills were appreciated by everyone. His band has given many performances and consist of Dale DesRoches his uncle for drumming and Tom DesRoches for playing the instrument bass. The lead guitarist of the band is James Phillips. Musicians like Brothers Grim and Sweetheart Jim also perform with the band. He has worked alongside many noted artists like Sarah Slean, Steve Earle, Crush, Sarah Harmer, Danny Michel, Blue Rodeo, Dan Bern, Kathleen Edwards, Ron Sexsmith, The Skydiggers, and Gord Downie.
