Prakash Amritraj is a professional and former tennis player representing India globally. He was born on 2 October 1983 in Los Angeles, California. His father is also an Indian tennis player, Vijay Amritraj and his mother is a Sri Lankan Tamil, Shyamala. He has a younger brother, Vikram Amritraj, born in 1987. Prakash won three straight ITF Pro Circuit tournaments in India in 2007 against Kran Rastogi. He played his first ATP Tour Final in 2008, losing against Fabrice Santoro from France. Prakash Amritraj began his acting career at the opening of NBC's comedy showcase.
