Criss Angel

Criss Angel is an American magician and illusionist who has dominated the world of magic for more than a decade. One of his aunts showed him a card trick at the age of seven, thus sparking his interest.

Thus he began practicing magic and gave his first performance at the age of 12. He began performing as a magician at birthday parties, night clubs, and various private events as a teenager. Criss has seventh-degree black belt along with dance and gymnastics background. He also earned pyrotechnics license at the young age of 18.

He started touring with a band named 'angeldust' along with his friend Klay Scott, where he produced and arranged CD's for his show 'Criss Angel Mindfreak.' Further, he performed 'World of Illusion' at the Madison Square in 1998 post which he got selected in the Broadway titled 'Mindfreak' which ran successfully for many years doing more than 600 performances.

Criss has also appeared in various television shows including 'The Science of Magic,' ' Criss Angel Supernatural,' ' Criss Angel Mindfreak' etc. Criss is the only magician to be awarded the Merlin Magician of the Year award twice.
