Flavia Sgoifo

Flavia Sgoifo was born in Italy and raised in Greece. She grew up in Athens, Greece, and was born in Milan, Italy. She was a teen tennis player in Greece. After graduating from high school, she enrolled at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, earning a BA in media and communication. Simultaneously, she enrolled in a theatre school to study acting and theatre. She began her acting career in Greece, where she appeared in several theatre and television shows. She's also directed and written a few plays, short films, and web series. She relocated to New York City in 2014 after receiving a Sanford Meisner scholarship to pursue Acting for Film and Television at the New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts (based on my audition performance).

In 2016, she received her bachelor's degree and went on to study and become certified as a personal trainer via the National Academy of Sports and Medicine. She's been working more than 60 hours a week, multiple jobs, while auditioning and performing nonstop since 2016. After serving, hosting a radio show, writing articles for a newspaper, handing out flyers dressed as a Broadway musical character in Times Square, and pretty much-doing everything else possible to make a living as an artist in NYC, she is finally making a living from her second biggest passion: fitness while pursuing her first and foremost passion: acting.

She works as an online coach with customers worldwide, trains private clients in New York, and teaches cross training, HIIT, Pilates, yoga, and meditation sessions at Club Fitness New York and at fitness retreats worldwide. In terms of acting, she's appeared in 16 off-Broadway productions (Antigone, Sardanapalus, Bella Napoli, Extraordinary Aliens, etc. ), two feature films (Starling, Chocolate and Roses), one Bollywood TV series (Metropark), and two commercials (L'Oreal and Signani 63, the latter directed by Academy Award winner Steven Soderbergh). She also works as a fitness model for BMG Models & Talent, where she recently inked a three-year contract.
