American well-known actress Gina Rodriguez was born on June 30, 1984, in Chicago, Illinois, USA. Her father Genaro Rodriguez is a boxing referee, and her mother is Magli. She has three sisters. She attended St. Ignatius College Prep and then she went to Tisch School of Arts. When she was seven years old, she used to dance for a salsa dance company called Fantasia Juvenil. To excel in the field of acting, she even went to the Atlantic Theatre Company. In 2006, she graduated with Bachelors of Fine Arts from the Experimental Theatre Wing.

The entire series portrayed the satire on this aspect. For this series, she was awarded the Best Actress for a Television series at 72nd Golden Globe Awards. Jane the Virgin also received the nomination for Best Television Series, AID Awards, Critics Choice Awards, etc. She is now working on a sci-fi plot which is going to release in 2017.
