Hitoshi Takagi was born 26th of February in the year 1925. He was a voice actor, who has worked in Japanese films, Video games, and TV series. He is well-known for giving the voice of Toroto. Apart from this, he has given his voice to Shun Di in the video game named “Virtua Fighter 2” which was released in the year 1994. Along with this, he has also given his voice in Virtua Fighter Kids released in the year 1996; Fighters Megamix released in the year 1997, Virtua Fighter 3 released in the year 1997. Hitoshi Takagi has given his voice to Shun Di. He is most popular for his role as a Catbus in “My Neighbor Totoro which was a Japanese film made in the genre of Drama/Fantasy and as the voice of Toroto. Hitoshi Takagi was born in Tokyo Prefecture which is a part of Tokyo Metropolis. Hitoshi Takagi was also known with the name of “Kin Takagi.” His star sign was Pisces. His height was 1.72m i.e. 5ft 7.75 inches. The film named “My Neighbor Totoro” was the film for which Hitoshi Takagi got popular. It was released in the year 1988. Along with this, he has also done many other films like Throne of Blood which was released in the year 1957, Ringing Bell which was released in the year 1978. Apart from this, Hitoshi Takagi has also worked as a voice artist in a TV series named “Moomin” started in the year 1969. He has also worked in Pikachu’s Rescue Adventure in which he gave his voice to the character of Kabigon, Tampopo directed by Itami Juzo in which he gave his voice to the character of Restaurant Owner, Tonari no Totoro in which he gave his voice to the character of Totoro, and much more.

Hitoshi Takagi has also participated in Bungakuza which was an irrational play. He had his website named hitoshitakagi@81produce. Hitoshi Takagi also had his production company named “81 Produce.” He has a son whose name is Takemoto. On 11th of February in the year 2004, Hitoshi Takagi died due to partial ischemic heart disease at the age of 78 in Japan. His funeral service was held at his production company named “81 Produce” on 17th of February in the year 2004 at 11:30 am. His eldest son named “Takemoto” was the chief mourner.
