The well-known American director, producer as well as TV writer, Brad Falchuk, was born on the 1st of March, 1971, to Nancy Falchuk, who is the National President of ‘Hadassah’, an American Jewish women’s volunteer organization, and also serves as the director of HMO. Falchuk was brought up in Newton in Massachusetts. He did his schooling from Beaver Country Day School. It is said that Falchuk, wanting to stand out from the rest of his classmates, wore a tie to school, which he calls as ‘being a Republican’. He graduated from the Hobart and William Smith Colleges, Geneva, in the year 1993. Falchuk was invited as their speaker during the 2014 graduation. He has also attended the American Film Institute.
Falchuk, as a kid, was known to have had an interest in basketball, baseball, as well as Lacrosse, but he suffered from dyslexia.

Falchuk is the brother of Evan Falchuk and Aimee Falchuk. Evan is the founder of ‘United Independent Party’ and was also a candidate for the post of Governor during the Massachusetts gubernatorial election, in the year of 2014. Aimee, younger to Brad, is heard to be a therapist. Falchuk was married to Suzanne Bukinik, the TV producer, with whom he has two children, Isabella and Brody. After more than ten years of their marriage, they have filed for a divorce. Falchuk is known to be in a relationship with Gwyneth Kate Paltrow, an American actress/singer.
Falchuk began his career in the TV industry with a science-fiction series, ‘Mutant X’, in 2001, created by Avi Arad. Later on, he wrote for ‘Earth: Final Conflict’, from 2001 to 2002, and ‘Veritas: The Quest’, in 2003. In 2003, Brad was recruited to work with Ryan on Nip/Tuck. In 2008, the duo created the pilot titled, ‘Pretty/Handsome’, a show about transsexual gynecologists, for the channel FX. Their show ‘Glee’, got two ‘Writers Guild America Award’ nominations. Falchuk’s anthology series was nominated for the 17 Primetime Emmy Awards for two years (2012 and 2013). He also got a nomination for the Outstanding Miniseries, in the same year. In the year 2010 and 2011, Brad won the AFI Award, ‘TV Program of the Year’, for his series, ‘Glee’.
