. Daughtry was born and brought up in Atlanta, Georgia. She started her journey of becoming a writer by studying theatre arts before graduating from Brenau University, Gainesville, GA.
In November 2017, ten months after writing Five Feet Apart, Iaconis and her writing partner Mikki Daughtry were included in the Young and Hungry List 2017, which signifies Hollywood’s top writers. The film was labeled as a huge commercial success on the box office.
