Randev Bhaduri was born to a Bengali family in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. He is a well-known cinematographer in Gujarati and Bollywood films. His father worked as the commissioner of Estates during British India so consequently, he had moved all throughout central India but they finally settled in Indore. During the 1950s the Bhaduri family went to Mumbai for a visit but to their surprise, they fell in love with the city and its people and decided to relocate to Mumbai. After moving to Mumbai in 1957, the members of the Bhaduri family started to work in the film industry. Soon after moving to the city of dreams, the family got associated with other Bengali families in Mumbai.

During the popular Bengali festival, Durga pooja the Bhaduri family began earnestly participating in cultural programs which quite surprisingly paved their way in the Bollywood film industry. Randev Bhaduri is well known for the following films first was Pyar ka Toofan which was released in 1990 and Agneekal which was also released in the same year, in the year 1994 he worked for another popular film Tu Tu Main Main. Randev Bhaduri was nominated for Gujarati iconic Film awards and also for the 66th national film awards. He is an exceptionally talented cinematographer who is a talented family member. Randev Bhaduri is married to Smt. Tandra Bhaduri and they are currently staying in Vadodara.
