Sarosh Irani

Sarosh Irani is a former Indian actor and an audiographer. His parents are Perish Irani and Noshir Irani. He had four siblings, Bunny, Daisy, Honey, and Menka. His spouse is Mona, whom he married in 1979. They both have two daughters, Delnaaz Irani and Sabah Irani. He majorly worked in the Hindi Film Industry. His primary education was completed in a well-known boarding school, “The Barnes School.” After joining the film industry, he studied in the “St. Teresa’s High School” of Bandra. As children, he and his brother, Bunny, started their construction company named “B Irani S Irani.” They shut it down after a few days as the job was too demanding on the young children. He worked as an assistant director for the next five years.

In 1976, he went to Iran and started working in the construction business. He was forced to come back to India due to the World War in late 1983. Later, he started working with his brother in the “Irani Café” of his grandfather. As a child artist, Sarosh did five films named “Masoom (1960), Man Mauji (1962), Sautela Bhai (1962), Aarti (1962), and Grahasti (1963).” As a fifteen-year-old teenager, he did the film “Grahasti,” it was impressive as child actors hardly get any acting opportunities.

The first film Sarosh assisted as a director was “Watan Se Door," released in 1968, with Nishi and Dara Singh as leading characters. In movies like “Aisa Bhi Hota Hai (1971)” and “Chaalbaaz (1989)”, he assisted Kamran, his brother-in-law. Even with a brief acting career, he left a mark on the audience.
