The movement to aware women voices up against harassment and argue the public space. In 2011, when her career was just started, she wrote for children, and in 2014, she was finally able to release her book, The Wednesday Bazaar. Neha keeps in mind the interest of all and writes both fictional and non-fictional poems published regularly in Cycle, Pluto, and Chakmak; all three are children’s magazines. She has provided stories to The Hindu Young World Anthology and Thank God it's Caturday. Neha’s dedication towards writing was not hidden from anyone, the same was recognized both nationally and worldwide. Her work was nominated for many prestigious awards in India and across the globe, like Jarul book Awards, Literary Awards, Comic-Con Indian Awards, Peekabook Awards, Neev Literary Awards. Neha’s book, I need to pee, in 2019 won a prize at the South Asia Book Awards.

She was also given opportunities to participate in various literary festivals like the Kolkata Literary Festival, Bookaroo children’s literature festivals, etc. Neha is proficient not just in writing, but in acting, theater practitioner, directing, and producing too. She owns a theater company, Rahi theater, that has so far produced, written, and directed two plays, Dohri Zindagi and Jhalkari, which have received huge love from across the nation. These plays were staged 75 times. Neha has written some other plays such as Gittu Bittu, Walk Like a woman, The magnificent madness, etc. Neha puts enormous efforts into her work which is established widely.

She has also produced and scripted four short films all became successful in their way. First, is A handful of sky won that won a special mention at the Mumbai Dimensions competition in the 10th MAMI film festival. Her other two films were, My parents don’t fit and Chitrangada that too impressed the audience.
