Rajit Dev

Rajit Dev is a choreographer as well as a dancer and has appeared in the Indian dance show “ Just Dance Just dance was a dance reality show aired on Star >> Read More... ”. He has worked on choreographing projects such as Dhoom 3 (2014), Jab Tak Hai Jaan (2012), and Ek Tha Tiger Click to look into! >> Read More... (also 2012). He can choreograph various dance styles from different cultures including Salsa, Bollywood, Jazz, Hip-Hop, Contemporary, etc. Currently, he is working on choreographing Puja Banerjee in the Indian dance show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, Season 7. He was featured in the Times of India article about his Independence day dance which brought tears to the strongest people and melted hearts across India. It is said that he has captured the true essence of India’s independence through his amazing percipience of this art form.

This choreographer, aged 30 (born 5th November 1985) had his first dance performance at the age of three and thrived to continue his aspirations. It is truly inspiring to see how he has become such a self-proclaimed choreographer for numerous occasions without receiving any professional training. He says that he has learned and lived dance through the eyes of others. Rajit has also attended two workshops on Jazz and Contemporary dance forms; one belonging to Terence’s workshop and the other belonging to Michelle Johnston. He says that he has taken up performing in Just Dance because the panel of judges are very inspiring to him, and he believes that these judges are the best Indian dance judges compared to anyone else. He aspires to continue being a choreographer and express himself through dance.
