In 2014, Ragini Makkhar and her group from Naadyog Classical Dance Academy participated in the fifth season of 'India’s Got Talent'’s season five and won the trophy. She began Kathak training after she got marriediage under Pt. Suresh Talwalkar and Shama Bhate and has also trainedlearned under Dr. Suchitra Harmalkar.
