Ajay Lohan is a writer, director, producer and cinematographer, who works in the Bollywood film industry. While growing up, Ajay was heavily influenced by films, both Hindi and English. After completing his graduation, he got into Jamia Milia Islamia to pursue a course in PG diploma in digital cinema. During his days at Jamia, Ajay also became a producer and editor for the Jamia radio. He was very much involved in the installation of the whole radio setup. Soon after finishing his diploma, he was hired by Loksabha TV as a technical executive, where he worked for a year. During his working days at Loksabha, he was actively auditioning for jobs in the film or TV industry and writing many scripts and playwrights which might be useful later on for auditions.

In 2007, he was hired by Balaji Telefilms Ltd. As their writer, where he wrote stories and screenplays of many of the fan-favorite shows. In the same year, he was hired as an associate producer for Moving Pictures. The same year, he worked as the chief assistant director on Tere Sang: A Kidult Story. This movie is based on an underage couple, where the girl gets pregnant and follows the tribulations the couple has to face. In 2013, he released another short film called ‘5 Rupay Ki Maut’ and in 2015, he was the assistant director on Madhur Bhandarkar’s ‘ Calendar Girls Click to look into! >> Read More... ’ which was centered around 5 supermodels' lives.

In 2020, he made his directorial debut on the silver screen with ‘Virgin Bhanupriya’. As of now, Ajay is working as a writer and director for Zee entertainment and is working on more movies to be released later.
