Amiya Dev is an Indian director who predominantly works in Hindi films. She was born on 16th January 1996 in New Delhi, India, spent a chunk of her childhood in Chandigarh, Punjab, and completed her schooling at The Shri Ram School in Moulsari, Gurgaon, Haryana. She went to the United Kingdom to pursue a Bachelor's Degree at the University of St. Andrews for higher education.
Her father is the legendary cricketer Kapil Dev, who is considered one of the best cricketers that India has ever had. Her mother is Romi Bhatia, an entrepreneur. She is a single child and does not have any siblings. Amiya started her journey as an assistant director for Kabir Khan's Project '83, a biographical film centered around Kapil Dev's remarkable life.
