Anand Kumar is an Indian film director, screenwriter, actor, and producer. He was born on December 10th, 1970, in Delhi, India. His father’s name is R. Rajappan, and his mother's name is Shanta Raju. His father was a lawyer practicing in the Delhi High Court. He was born into a Malayali household but was brought up entirely in Delhi. He finished his school education at DTEA Senior Secondary School in Lodhi East, New Delhi. He did not complete his college education and was a dropout. Before debuting in feature films, he worked in ad films, music videos, and also documentaries. He debuted as a director with the film "Qatil Nigahen" in 1999, in which he was credited as R. Anand Kumar. In 2007, he wrote and directed "Delhi Heights." starring Jimmy Sheirgill and Neha Dhupia.
