Iram Ghufran is an Indian film director. She was born in Delhi. Her work had been displayed in multiple international film festivals, such as the Berlin Film Festival and World Social Forum. She has won several awards for her documentary film There Is Something in The Air. These include the National Award. She holds a Masters in Mass Communication from Jamia Milia Islamia, Delhi. Iram has also directed the famous documentary Benegal’s New Cinema, released in 2014. The story revolves around Shyam Benegal’s films. She is also the editor of the movie, Let Them Blossom, released in 2012 and directed by Amrita Dasgupta.
