The daily soap operas that he had directed went ahead and became the highest running ones with huge TRPs and craze among the Indian viewers as well the ones abroad. He has been credited to have given the Indian Television Industry one of the most famous daily serials which the whole of the nation has been watching since time immemorial. After trying his luck at directing various TV series, he then thought of taking a leap into directing movies. His new directorial project named MSG: The Messenger, kept him in the limelight. This film was released in the year 2015 and was based on the life of the leader of the religious sect named Dera Sacha Sauda. It was while he was shooting for this film, that Jitu became an ardent disciple of the sect and became Jitu Arora Insaan. Insaan is a suffix that every follower of the DSS community has to use. He became completely mesmerized by Guruji and his ability to work so professionally and skillfully. Jitu was skeptical about making this film at first but after giving a lot of thought to it, he finally agreed and this movie proved to be one of the most controversial and eccentric work for him.
