Saad Khan

Saad Khan is a film director, screenwriter, and an acting mentor. Saad khan was born in Mumbai and was raised in Bangalore. During his college days, he was immensely mesmerized by theatre and writing and directing plays. He even created a well-delivering theatre group. Khan's determination to become a good director, took him to the United States where he got a degree in film making from Tisch School of Arts, New York University. He then did two more courses on film making and directing from the states.

In Bollywood, Saad khan worked under Aashutosh Gowarikar as an associate director. He was the director of the first Hindi feature film in Bangalore, Station (2014). His Short film, Another Kind of Black (2008), which he had directed right after finishing his studies, got screened in the Cannes Film Festival. The Pandora Box of talent and perfection, Saad Khan, is also the director of Humble Politician Nograj (2018), the first Kannada feature film to get a digital audience world-wide.

Saad Khan is the founder of A for Acting and FirstAction, where he mentors and nurtures the new talents with the right guidance and support. Khan has also produced a comedy show under the FirstAction (formerly named CenterStage) banner, namely Impruv (India). Over the years Saad Khan has also been honored with numerous awards for his brilliant work in different projects.
