Tushar Sabharwal

Based in Mumbai, Tushar Sabharwal is a freelance Director working in the film industry since 2012. Born and raised in Mumbai, Tushar speaks multiple languages, including Marathi, Hindi, English, and Punjabi. He completed his schooling at Vasant Vihar School, Thane, and pursued engineering in Electronics from Vidyalankar Institute of Technology, but Tushar was more passionate about the creative field, so he decided to pursue his passion in films and completed a course in Film Editing from The Digital Academy – The Film School. After completing the film editing course successfully, he started working on short films, documentaries, and corporate films under the supervision of a senior editor. Soon he realized his calling for directing films, so he enrolled in a Film direction course at Mumbai University.

He has made a few short films as project work in his academic learning. After certification in film direction from Mumbai University, he started working as an assistant director on feature films. He has also worked on some big brand advertisement projects like Layer'r Perfumes, Wottagirl products, and many more. Till now, Tushar has worked on several other projects, including feature films, short films, corporate films, and advertisements. During his work, he has worked in multiple jobs in the industry, such as Associate Director, Script supervisor, Film editor, Writer, Co-ordinator, and post-production management. After gaining enough experience in the film industry, Tushar Sabharwal has been actively working as a freelance associate in the Indian film industry since 2015.
