Reshma Dordi

Reshma, a Harvard graduate in Digital Marketing, is an award-winning journalist, CEO, executive producer, lead anchor, former Miss LA India, innovator, and one of the most seasoned presenters in the United States. She is a board member for the Bay Area-based NGO Maitri. Along with her Harvard degree, she also has done bachelor’s in Communications, specializing in Broadcast Journalism. She wore the crown of first Miss L.A. India in 1988. At CNN’s Showbiz, her career commenced as a director and a producer. Then, she established Pearl entertainment, Inc.- produces “Showbiz India TV,” commercials, hosts movie premiers, beauty pageants, and charitable events. She founded ‘Reshma Beauty’- manufactures the finest quality hair and skincare products funded on the science of natural herbs. Her Reshma Henna is quite popular in the South Asian Community and rapidly expands to a mainstream market.

Before working at Showbiz, she worked at Palken Radio, which featured South Asian Music and Entertainment. Reshma, after the establishment of the show, interviewed many major league artists. She has been seen on TV and Radio shows like- NBC’s Today Show, E! Entertainment, Sony Entertainment Television, Doordarshan, KNX News Radio, and many more. In addition to this, For promoting South Asian Culture to mainstream America, she was appreciated by California. For her contributions towards TV Reporting, Media and Journalism, she was honored by Beverly Hills. She recently became the executive producer and anchor of this brand new TV show called ‘Luminaries’- this show pays attention to successful South Asians based in the United States. This show helps Reshma inspire and empower young people, as the show shares the struggles and successes of pioneers and masterminds in technology, science, arts, business, and many other fields.
