Shamita Singha

Shamita Singha is the winner of Femina Miss India 2001 and a former supermodel. She also worked as a television anchor, and an activist for animal rights. At present, she is the director of “Onesoul Fashion and Lifestyle Events.” Singha lives in Mumbai, India. Her sister Mashoom is married to Australian Cricketer, Shaun Tait and is also a model like her sister. Shamita did her graduation in literature and was fond of writing poetry in school. She was trustee of the Animal Welfare Board of India. Also, she provides funds to Nature and Animal Care Foundation. She posed on a bed of red chilies nude for PETA Dishoom, India (campaign against animal cruelty).

After that, she completed an introductory course at the Beaune School of Wine in Burgundy. Also, she went to various wine tasting workshops at London Wine Academy and Spain. In New York & California, she attended special workshops on new world wines. She did many events and fashion show under her event management company “Onesoul." It directed Karleo event, and Yamaha Fascino Miss Diva Calendar Event. Moreover, she hosted WOW Women's Achievers Awards.
