Ayushman Mitra

Ayushman Mitra is a Kolkata-based Indian fashion designer, an actor, and a painter, born to a cosmopolitan family in West Bengal. He is recognized as the proud owner of the fashion label called Bobo Calcutta. He graduated from St Xavier's College, Kolkata. He started his career with painting and was a professional painter who participated in various group and solo exhibitions.

With his bold ideas of design and a vast palette of colors, he addressed and revolted against various social norms regarding diversity and sexuality. His notion is to treat garments as an art form that can freely initiate conversations on the so-called uneasy topics of society. His latest unique designing ideas in clothing represents the naturality of homosexuality. His garments celebrate the right to love freely and live a fearless life.

His targeted customers are people who are not afraid of attention and are confident about their choices. According to Ayushman Mitra, the most important part of everything is for a person to accept themselves as they are. Before trying to convince the world, they should first embrace their true selves. Ayushman Mitra got featured at Lakme Fashion Week 2018 as a GenNext designer. Apart from this, he was a part of the 2013 film called Cosmic Sex as an actor, followed by a short film called Ahalya in 2015.
