Dakssh Ajit Singh, who is an actor, was born on March 27th, 1980 in Punjab. He could be seen prominently in Punjabi films. He is popular for controversy in ‘Maryada: Lekin Kab Tak?’ a drama series. This was the first drama in the country for showing about homosexuality onscreen. In this serial, Dakssh acted in the homosexual character. Then, he appeared in ‘Hum Ne Li Hai … Shapath’, the drama series telecasted on Life OK channel. Subsequently, he acted in ‘ Jamunia’, which is a serial on orphan girl. He has also been a part of ‘ Raja Ki Aayegi Baraat’, a series that was telecasted in Star Plus. He has also acted in a comedy series called, ‘ Chaldi Da Naam Gaddi’. After this, he made his appearance in ‘Bharat Ka Veer Putra’, which is a historical drama, that was premiered in Sony Entertainment.
At present, he can be seen in ‘Kuch Toh Log Kahenga’, which is a series that is being telecasted on Sony Entertainment. He is also acting in ‘Chhal-Sheh Aur Maat’, a family drama and he said to be replaced. He has appeared in ‘Tere Ishq Nachaya’, a 2010 film. He got his B.A (Arts) degree from Government College for Boys, Ludhiana. Apart from acting, he has shown interests in poetry, humanity, painting and photography. His marriage was with Mannat Singh. He was also noted as salesperson in ‘Crystal Music House’. In this, he also acted as a recordist. In addition, he has played a role of a graphic designer during 1990s. In his recent film Arsho, Dakssh Ajit established himself as a film-singer too. Prior to this, he has released his albums, ‘Allah De Bandey’ and ‘Me ‘n’ Maahii’. He has also written lyrics for his album.
