He convinced Kazi to act in his upcoming movie Jai Ho but did not specify his role in the movie. Haroon had to do a lot of hard work for the role. He underwent training in Martial Arts, dance and had to attend a workshop on acting. Haroon was then cast as a villain in Jai Ho. He did not talk much about his role as he feels that his acting should publicize the role, rather than the opposite.
