Jashan made it to the top five but was eliminated in the second last round. He was born on 1st April 1989 in Mohali, Punjab, and raised in Chandigarh. Both of his parents are lawyers. He attended the St. John’s High School before enrolling in the D.A.V. College to graduate with a bachelor’s degree in mass communication.

He later switched his educational stream to his parents’ profession and joined the Punjab University in an LLB course. He practiced as an advocate at the Punjab & Haryana High Court in Chandigarh for some time but quit his job to master the art of acting.

He trained in the skill from the Alankar Theatre Group in Chandigarh, where he performed in numerous stage plays. In his latest undertaking, Jashan impersonated Sepoy Hira Singh in Discovery Jeet’s historical drama “21 Sarfarosh - Saragarhi 1897” (2019). The show was based on the Battle of Saragarhi fought in 1897 between the Sikh soldiers of the British Indian Army and the tribesmen of Pashtun Orakzai.
