Kopil Bora

Kopil Bora predominantly works in Assamese projects. He is a skilled and versatile personality. Apart from acting, he has also tested waters as an anchor, and voice artist in All India Radio. The 2002 Assamese flick Gun Gun Gane Gane is his debut venture. Ahir Bhairab, Mon, Dwaar and Jetuka Pator Dore are some of his renowned flicks.

Kopil Bora did his schooling and college in Guwahati. He is at present staying in Guwahati. Kopil kick started his profession as a theatre artist. Kopil has worked in quite a many Assamese films. Dwaar was a critically acclaimed film of Kapil Bora. Kapil enacted the role of a mentally disturbed person in that film. He garnered the Best Actor award in the Filmfare East 2014 awards function for this film.

Kopil got himself assopciated with several plays. Narakor Gopan Kakhyat is a renowned play of Kopil. Kopil essayed the role of a gay in the play Pancharatna. He worked as an associated director for Agnibristi, another play. Kopil had a stint with television too; he worked in a mini series called Manushi. Ashirbad Theater is a mobile theater, in which Kopil got himself associated. Kopil had got himself involved in various hosting and social endeavors. Kopil Bora is the representative of an educational organization in Guwahati. Friends of Kaziranga is a documentary flick which had the narration of Kopil. This documentary is an ode to the forest securities of Kaziranga National Park. Several musical programmes in television were presented by Kopil. A clothes store was opened by Kopil in Guwahati. This store was started to aid the needy. Kopil feels that Assam is in want of additional mobile theatres and Assamese films should reach the audience effectively.
