Shashank is the new kid on the block to have got an opportunity to act in the movie Rebellious Flower. As much as this title is intriguing, the movie is apparently not so. The reviews of this film turned out to be less creative and following the rigidity of without allowing much to explore type with the lack of creative interpretation.

Shashank plays the role of Osho Rajneesh when as younger Rajneesh. The movie takes the audience through the childhood days of Rajneesh posing quintessential philosophical questions of life and its meaning. Rajneesh in later years catapulted into a major controversial Guru in India, and around the world.

Shashank was cast in the movie in a very prominent role. It is unclear if Shashank is a follower of Osho cult but his acting was not particularly appreciated. However, the movie received the honor of Special Mention Jury Award at Salentino Film Festival in Italy.
