Suyash Kumar

"Suyash Kumar Rai is an Indian TV artist, who has worked on many Indian TV Serials such as Pyaar Ki Ye Ek Kahaani. He made his presence known in the industry through his participation in MTV’s Splitsvilla. Kumar was born on March 24, 1989, at Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh. Before stepping into the limelight, Kumar had the dream of playing cricket for his country, accounting for ten years of his life as a professional cricket player. Unfortunately, due to a shoulder injury, he was not able to continue in that field and had to move on to Mumbai after completing his graduation in BBA. After moving to Mumbai, he landed his first lead role in the Indian supernatural TV series, Pyaar Kii Ye Ek Kahaani, which made him a star among the general public.

He followed this success with roles in other TV serials such as Kya Hua Tera Vaada and Kaisa Yeh Ishq Hai... Ajab Sa Risk Hai. Along with his acting career, he has worked as a model, for many fashion shows as well as worked in a couple of commercial advertisements. Kumar has participated in the ninth edition of Bigg Boss, along with his wife Kishwer Merchant, to be evicted shortly after. Following his love for cricket, he continues to play in the Box Cricket League, produced by MTV and has emerged as the winner for the first two seasons of the completion. Kumar married his co-star from Pyaar Ki Ye Ek Kahaani, Kishwer Merchant on December 16, 2016, at court, followed by a small reception and other ceremonies."
