Amrita Bagchi is an Indian industry film actress, director and has worked in the Movie- art department. She lives in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. The artist has done several Ad-Shoots, Commercials and theatre work. She has also released her song videos, which gained immense popularity on social media platforms. Amrita is an all-rounder artist. Apart from acting and singing she designs, creates; the art, loves to shoot, and has a keen interest in cinematography.

She is a theatre-artist and delivered breathtaking performances in one of her plays named “Aranya’s Island.” In 2013, Bagchi made her director/editor debut in a short-documentary film named “How to Ziro- Zero Festival of Music:2012,” about the first music festival in North-East India.  

The direction and screenplay were appreciated throughout the documentary. Later, the artist worked in the art department- Camera for Mini-TV Series called “Standing By,” a documentary, attempting to uncover the history of independent music in India. Amrita Bagchi has starred in several music videos, one of the remarkable single hits is “BEMATLAB (2020),” which crossed more than fifteen thousand hits in less than three weeks. The music video was updated on the social media platform, “YouTube.” Besides her acting, she loves to travel and shoot various photographs of different locations, natural scenic beauties, making doodles, listening to music, and working out.

Some of her famous work-roles is seen in Hindi-Projects as Mrinaal in “Stories By Rabindranath Tagore (2015),” Jiah in “Phobia (2016),” Maulshree in “Meri Pyaari Bindu (2017),” in Bollywood; TV-series and short films as Ava in “Good Luck (2018),” Mumtaz in “Dust (2019),” Jyotsna Ray in “Music Teacher (2019),” Katrina in “City of Dreams (2019) and Promila in “Hasmukh (2020).” Amrita Bagchi is a bright future for the Indian cinemas, her creativity and artistic work is exceptional and has made her journey remarkable.
