Her daughter Amrita Kak is a famous singer who had done various songs like "Tujhe Aksa Beach" (God Tussi Great Ho), "Dhinka Chika" (Ready), etc. Amrita married on 29 may 2010 with Delhi business baron Riju Jhunjhunwala. Amrita’s older brother is Ankur Kak. He is trained as a chef and a restaurant owner. He has restaurants running in Jaipur. Ankur married his long time girlfriend Milan Rai in 2009. Beena has done her graduation from a home science college in Udaipur, and she has received her master’s degree from the Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda.

Her political career also touched the shine of stars. She was a four-time member of Legislative Assembly in the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly from Sumerpur (her residence) district. Kak was also cabinet minister of Art & Culture, Archeology, Development, Tourism, etc. In 2013, Kak lost the Rajasthan Assembly Election from the opposition party BJP in her constituency Sumerpur By a reasonable margin of votes.
