Mahira Khan or Mahira Hafeez Khan is a Pakistani actress, Video Jockey, and a model. She is best known as Kharid Ehsan of Hamsafar. She portrayed the role of a middle-class girl. She has been working right since 2008 and is from Karachi, Pakistan she was born on December 21st,1984. She is way too talented for her age and it seems as if the camera is her friend.


She began her career as a Video Jockey at an age of 16 years. The first job ever done by her was hosting MTV’s Most Wanted which was aired three days a week on MTV Pakistan. Then she hosted Weekends with Mahira on Aag TV. Her hosting career reached a peak as 10th Lux Style Awards in 2008 and1st Hum awards in 2013.

Mahira Hafeez Khan is a known Pakistani television actress who also starred in films and is a model as well as a former VJ. Mahira was born to a Muslim family in Karachi, Pakistan on 21st December 1984. Her father was born in Delhi during the British rule but he later shifted to Pakistan after the partition of India. Both her parents are Urdu speaking Pathans.

She was married to famous businessman Ali Aksari in 2007. It was a love marriage which started in the United States. The marriage didn’t work out for long and they got divorced in 2015. The couple has a son called Azlaan who was born in 2014.

Mahira has worked in a lot of Pakistani serials with unique storylines too. The film was banned around its release in Pakistan due to its sensitive content. The film talks about an empowered woman and how she rightfully tackles misogyny, patriarchy, and abuse. She has also made history by being L’Oréal’s first Pakistani ambassador. In March 2018 she will be seen in U.K. Asian Film Festival for her film Verna which will celebrate the achievements of women in films.
