From Middlesbrough, England, Preeti Desai is an Indian super model as well as an actor. She was born in Middlesborough, on 29th September, 1984 and raised and educated there as well. She graduated as a beauty therapist from the Middlesborough College. She took modeling as her career path, a wise decision from her side. In 2007, she was crowned Miss Great Britain and made history by being the first Indian woman to have won the award. While she was the ambassador of Great Britain, she used her time well in charity events and organizations. After she handed over her title of Miss Great Britain to Gemma Garrett, she moved to India and became a supermodel in 2008. She has posed for the covers of magazines such as Cosmopolitan, Grazia and G2. Preeti’s modeling career was on a rise as she posed for Kingfisher Swimsuit Special Calendar, and did TV commercials like Cadbury and Hero Honda. She has shot with Italian designer Leonardo Ferragamo for L’Officiel magazine. Her modeling career soared within two years, when she decided to take on the Indian cinema in 2011. Her debut “Shor in the City” directed by was a thriller drama. The movie and her performance got appreciation from the critics and the audience. The mo0vie was officially selected for the Busan International Film Festival and Dubai International Film Festival. Preeti was also nominated for Best Lead Actress for her role. Her second movie “One by Two” alongside was also acclaimed by critics as “never disappoints”.
