, was also a Marathi actress. She made her debut with the film, 'Chandanachi Choli Ang Ang Jaali.’ She received the state government award for best actress twice for her films, 'Are Sansar Sansar' and 'Gup Chup Gup Chup.’
Ranjana has acted in several films. Some of her prominent films are, 'Bin Kamacha Navra,’ 'Jakhmi Vaghin,’ 'Ek Daav Bhutacha,’ 'Jhunj, ’ and 'Gondhalat Gondhal.’ Unfortunately, Ranjana had a car accident in 1987. Her legs got paralyzed in this accident. This accident ended her acting career. Ranjana died at the age of 45 due to a heart attack on 3 March 2000.
