Zehra Jane Naqvi

Zehra Jane Naqvi was born on 5th of July 1977. She is Anglo-Australian by nationality and is an Indian actress. It is because of her hybrid identity that she is rather versatile in her career that ranged from being an actress in Bollywood to doing plays and voice over acting as well as singing.

She has been working in radio, theater and films for over 14 years. Zehra had a training from National Theater, Melbourne of Musical Theater. She can speak English and is almost fluent in Urdu and Hindi. She shifted her home to UK nearly 15 years back, and it is here that she worked her way through stage shows and movies. London is the place where she owns a Home Studio to herself which is remarkably well equipped.

She made her debut appearance as a voice over actor in a play by Finish Productions, which was named Dr. Who. Zehra has done a very vast array of commercials since then in Hindi as well as in English. Due to her versatility she is able to pull through a voice for an adult, a teenager, a middle-aged person as well as anything animated. She is a known face in the Indian film industry as Zehra has played many roles of a supporting actress. She was seen in movies like De Dhana Dhana Goal in which the portrayal of the character of Jenny was done by her as well as in the movie Hum Tum Aur Ghost.

Other than her career in Bollywood she also does stage drama in Europe and elsewhere and has appeared in a play that was shown in the National Theater in the South Pacific named Merrily We Roll Along. She was also in the lead in a hit play Bombay Dreams, which was a musical by Andrew Lloyd Webber.
