In 1976, when they sign Agent Vinod, Raam died. Laxman is alone now, but their dual name exists. Raam and Laxman were good friends and music directors. After Raam’s death, Laxman always signs the films with Ram Laxman's name. He signed his Marathi and Hindi films with the same name. Dada Kondke, the famous comedian, was impressed with his work when he started his orchestra in his son’s name Amar-Vijay and proposed them for the Marathi comedy Pandu Hawaldar.
