Devendra Singh was born on 2 April 1954 in Uttar Pradesh. He is a politician and an agriculturist by profession. He did his high schooling from ‘Board of High School and Intermediate Education Uttar Pradesh.’ He is an insider of the political party BJP but started on as only a worker of the party. He won the Vidhan Sabha Election in the year 1993 and 1996. Initially, he took part in the bye- elections in State Assembly of Uttar Pradesh and was able to grab a seat from Derapur Legislative Assembly constituency.
In 2007, he won in UP state assembly as a BJP candidate. Recently in 2014, he stood for the Indian General Elections and had the taste of victory.
